Time for recovery at a rest home

President interrupted
was that the name of that Angelina Jolie movie?
In any case the patriots failed to rescue him
a self anointed political Lord Jim
with a intellectual fortitude quite dim
and too many Kentucky Fried chicken dinners on Air Force One was him less than slim
the master of politically inoffensive gems like the “Kung Flu Virus”
caused fury up the Chinese sinus
the countless mask and unsocially distanced rallies
causing great death tallies
A hero at Fox
to America ultimately a pox
the insatiable quest for power
caused the spineless Republicans to cower
the mocking of all opponents like Sleepy Joe
caused him to flounder in a sickly dough
his attacks on Fauci
were more than grouchy
when did he become unhinged
that led him ultimately to be conclusively politically singed
was the call to insurrection
that so clearly shouted out his lack of obtaining an……..
impeachment or article 25 of the Constitution
a cleansing American ablution
He is resting comfortably in a happy home
safe and sound eating white rice with sirloin that has been ground
and his fascist plans unwound

so what is his legacy?
will he live on and be admired by gangs of disillusioned right wing thugs?
or disgraced by smiling Democratic hugs?

Please keep him away from the bleach
for he has much for history to teach!
