Poetry Corner: “Honeymoon at Saratoga Springs (Circa 1961)”

Honeymoon at Saratoga Springs (circa 1961)

Well it was certainly quite a day
let’s go to bed
Wait!
I have to brush my teeth

You already did

Come on let’s go for a walk

But it is two o’clock in the morning

Oh all right
turn off the light and look the other way

o.k.
