“His Name is Ray”: Desperation an Understatement

Michael Del Monte followed Toronto based panhandler Ray originally from PEI but now a panhandler on Lakeshore Boulevard in Toronto. He goes from car to car hoping for handouts to fund his heroin addiction.

Del Monte noticed him on his drive home and he was invited by Ray to follow him for 8 months single-handedly. Apparently, Ray worked for the Coast Guard but what ill fate brought him to his beggarly drug addicted status in Toronto is unexplained.

Mostly incoherent he professes many times he will be back on the water and it will just take him some concentration to do that. Dream on fantasy.

Sadly it seems but an impossible dream as he suffers overdoses, robbery and intimidation by a drug dealer he owed money to.

We are introduced to his social circle of alcoholics and drug addicts but to say there are “friends” in this world may be a stretch. “Friends” rob each other. It is always for the next hit. Day after day of drudgery to numb the pain.

Drug overdose deaths are common and one reaches a sense of alarm when Ray starts on fentanyl where we watch him shooting up it is like waiting for his demise.

What a dark and oppressive world Del Monte exposes in my hometown which makes it all the more real for me.

Del Monte says, “It’s a hard story to watch, but it’s a much harder story to live. It’s a film that begs the audience to have the courage to look Ray in the eye and have empathy.” I agree with Del Monte here on the understanding that empathy means doing something to make Ray’s life better as opposed to sympathy which is pity.

At one point in this film I think Ray is beyond help and deluded about his return to the sea. I doubt he will return to the sea but will perish with a fentanyl overdose. By the way the leading cause of death for Canadians 55 and under is a drug overdose and drug rehabs have an initial success rate of 10%. The obsession with COVID in the health care system seems to leave few resources or empathy to deal with people like Ray.

I am ready to give up on Ray until near the end of the doc he is invited for a sail on a sailboat on Lake Ontario and for a brief moment the viewer might feel there is hope. Ray becomes an involved and  becomes an engaged human but returns to a mundane and dangerous career of panhandling to feed his deadly drug habit.

But for an instant I think if there was a custom rehab programme for Ray that involved some sailing there might be some hope. But given the resource hog of COVID in the health system and the lack of a meaningful rehab system Ray and many others will be doomed.

A hard watch indeed for those with empathy and even an angry watch as the opioid epidemic takes a backseat to the COVID pandemic. A bit of a paradox if the opioid death rate exceeds COVID deaths. Well let the politico-medico elite deal with this problem. Postpone cancer surgeries and ignore the opioid death rate for the glossy headlines of the crusaders against the evil COVID. Who is getting screwed?

Digital access will be available for Canadians from 22April until 27 May at Hot Docs Ted Rogers Cinema. This is one film I would have loved to interview theatre goers about their reaction to the film. My thoughts on this that there might be a sense of hopelessness, disgust or “he got what he deserved”. However being imprisoned by a COVID holy commandment of social distancing this will not be possible.

This doc will be available for Canadians from April 22 until May 27. For others depending on international distribution rights you may the opportunity to see this film. But wherever you live Ray will be on a street corner near you.

10 Steps We Can Take to Never Have a Year Like 2020: # 9 Restructure our cities

Again the Quebec magazine L’actualitê has an interesting feature article in its April edition dealing with COVID-19 and translated it means what are the steps we can take to ensure we don’t have a year like 2020?

Christian Savard the director general of “Vivre en Ville” said that it was not only Montreal green spots that have experienced a boom but suburban parks as well. The increased use of these parks show us just how important it is to our lives and collective resilience.

Experts on urban planning agree that the greening of cities should be accelerated to make us more resilient to future crisis whether health or climate change related. One must not underestimate the value of trees. Not only do they purify the air but create areas of natural cooling and help combat stress and anxiety.

Cyril Frazao executive director of Nature Quebec says that the access to nature must be a right for all not simply for those that can leave the city easily in their cars.

Urban planning laws are over 40 years old and were based on the automobile and real estate construction. The post pandemic world must be greener and more inclusive.

10 Steps We Can Take to Never Have a Year Like 2020: # 8 Facilitate Access to Nature

Again the Quebec magazine L’actualitê has an interesting feature article in its April edition dealing with COVID-19 and translated it means what are the steps we can take to ensure we don’t have a year like 2020?

The eighth step is to have better access to nature.

The article mentions how Quebeckers were elbowing for room in the fresh air in the summer of 2020. National parks, beaches and trails were crowded. Although there is some paradox in Quebec as some of the most beautiful spots are inaccessible to so many as they are far removed from centres of population. Privatization of rivers, forests and real estate construction are destroying the “green belts” of Quebec.

It is difficult to create protected geographic areas of Quebec as so many different governmental ministries have conflicting interests. One ministry wants to give logging rights while another wants to crate public access on trails through the forest. Some critics of the grant of logging rights and the profits gained from it are less than what economic benefits from tourism could be. The doctrine of L’allemansträtt is a constiututional right in Sweden to walk and camp on all private property. There is no obligation to reserve camping spots but Quebeckers lack the civility of the Swedes not knowing how to properly treat nature and leave garbage everywhere.

The expropriation laws in Quebec that are some 40 years old set back any tendency to create publicly accessible land as owners are entitled not only to the market value of the land but grant them the theoretical right to profits that would have been made from the land had it not been expropriated.

Susan Cain’s “Quiet”: The creative advantage of introverts

“But there’s a less obvious yet surprisingly powerful explanation for introverts’ creative advantage-an explanation that everyone can learn from: introverts prefer to work independently and solitude can be a catalyst to innovation. As the influential psychologist Hans Eysenck once observed, introversion “concentrates the mind on tasks at hand, and prevents the dissipation of energy on social and sexual matters unrelated to work”.”

Passage of the Day from “The Heptameron” by Marguerite de Navarre (1492-1549)

“And we, who are all of good birth, ought to die of shame at the thought that our hearts may be tinged with worldly feelings, even a poor mule-driver’s wife does not fear to face was a most cruel death. Can any women regard herself as virtuous unless she has, like this woman, resisted to the last. So let us humble ourselves for God’s graces are not given to men for their noble birth and for their riches, but according as it pleases Him in His goodness. He has no regard for persons but elects whom He will and those whom He has elected. He honours with virtues and crowns with His glory. Often does He choose that which is low, that He might confound that which the world places high and considers worthy, even as He himself has said, “Let us not rejoice in our own virtues but let us rejoice that we are not inscribed in the Book of Life, from which not Death, nor Hell, nor Sin can erase us.”

New York State Poised to Legalize “adult use” Cannabis

Legislation (S.854-A/A.1248-A) Would Establish the Office of Cannabis Management; Expand New York’s Existing Medical Marijuana Program; Establish a Licensing System; and Create a Social and Economic Equity Program Encouraging Individuals Disproportionately Impacted by Cannabis Enforcement to Participate in Industry

Tax Collection Projected to Reach $350 Million Annually and Potentially Create 30,000 to 60,000 Jobs

Governor Andrew M. Cuomo, Senate Majority Leader Andrea Stewart-Cousins and Assembly Speaker Carl Heastie today announced an agreement on legislation (S.854-A/A.1248-A) to legalize adult-use cannabis. The bill would establish the Office of Cannabis Management to implement a comprehensive regulatory framework that would cover medical, adult-use and cannabinoid hemp. The bill would also expand New York State’s existing medical marijuana and cannabinoid hemp programs. The legislation provides licensing for marijuana producers, distributors, retailers, and other actors in the cannabis market, and creates a social and economic equity program to assist individuals disproportionately impacted by cannabis enforcement that want to participate in the industry.

The development of an adult-use cannabis industry in New York State under this legislation has the potential to create significant economic opportunities for New Yorkers and the State. Tax collections from the adult-use cannabis program are projected to reach $350 million annually. Additionally, there is the potential for this new industry to create 30,000 to 60,000 new jobs across the State.

“For generations, too many New Yorkers have been unfairly penalized for the use and sale of adult-use cannabis, arbitrarily arrested and jailed with harsh mandatory minimum sentences. After years of tireless advocacy and extraordinarily hard work, that time is coming to an end in New York State,” Governor Cuomo said. “Legalizing adult-use cannabis isn’t just about creating a new market that will provide jobs and benefit the economy — it’s also about justice for long-marginalized communities and ensuring those who’ve been unfairly penalized in the past will now get a chance to benefit. I look forward to signing this legislation into law.”

“There were many important aspects of this legislation that needed to be addressed correctly — especially the racial disparities that have plagued our state’s response to marijuana use and distribution as well as ensuring public safety — and I am proud we have reached the finish line,” Senate Majority Leader Andrea Stewart-Cousins said. “Thank you to the Senate sponsor, Senator Liz Krueger, for her tireless efforts to get this legislation advanced and done right. I am glad we are stepping up to give New Yorkers the fair and equitable adult-use marijuana market they deserve.”

“When we decriminalized adult use of marijuana in 2019, the Assembly Majority knew that legalization had to be done the right way – in a way that would help not harm our communities that have been devastated by the state’s drug laws,” Assembly Speaker Carl Heastie said. “This bill will do that and I thank Majority Leader Crystal Peoples-Stokes for her tireless efforts. The MRTA does not just legalize the adult use of marijuana, but it rights decades of disproportionately targeting people of color, ensures they are included in the legal marijuana industry and reinvests in education and in communities that have been harmed.”

“For years I have been working toward legalizing marijuana in a way that ensured a safe product, that we would be able to invest in the lives of people who suffered as a result of mass incarcerations, and to allow us to invest in our communities,” Assembly Majority Leader Crystal Peoples-Stokes said. “I have been committed to getting this done correctly and justly. I believe that the MRTA does all of those things.”

The New York State Cannabis/Marijuana Regulation & Taxation Act contains the following provisions:

Establish the Office of Cannabis Management

The Office of Cannabis Management would be charged with enforcing a comprehensive regulatory framework governing medical, adult-use cannabinoid hemp. It would be governed by a five-member board, with three members appointed by the Governor and one appointment by each house. OCM would be an independent office operating as part of the New York State Liquor Authority.

Medical Cannabis

The agreement would allow people with a larger list of medical conditions to access medical marijuana, increase the number of caregivers allowed per patient, and permit home cultivation of medical cannabis for patients.

Adult-Use Cannabis

The agreement would create a two-tier licensing structure that would allow for a large range of producers by separating those growers and processors from also owning retail stores. The legislation creates licenses for producers and distributors, among other entities, and the legislation will implement strict quality control, public health and consumer protections. A social and economic equity program would facilitate individuals disproportionally impacted by cannabis enforcement, including creating a goal of 50% of licenses to go to a minority or woman owned business enterprise, or distressed farmers or service-disabled veterans to encourage participation in the industry.

The Bill proposes a new cannabis tax structure that would replace a weight-based tax with a tax per mg of THC at the distributor level with different rates depending on final product type. The wholesale excise tax would be moved to the retail level with a 9 percent state excise tax. The local excise tax rate would be 4 percent of the retail price. Counties would receive 25% of the local retail tax revenue and 75 percent would go to the municipality.

Cannabinoid Hemp

The agreement would permit the sale of hemp flower in the cannabinoid hemp program, and allow for smokeable forms only when adult use retail stores are operational.

Adult-Use Cannabis Tax Revenue

All cannabis taxes would be deposited in the New York state cannabis revenue fund. Revenue covers reasonable costs to administer the program and implement the law. The remaining funding would be split three ways:

  • 40 Percent to Education
  • 40 Percent to Community Grants Reinvestment Fund
  • 20 Percent to Drug Treatment and Public Education Fund

Municipal Opt-Out

Cities, towns, and villages may opt-out of allowing adult-use cannabis retail dispensaries or on-site consumption licenses by passing a local law by December 31, 2021 or nine months after the effective date of the legislation. They cannot opt-out of adult-use legalization.

Traffic Safety

The New York State Department of Health will work with institutions of higher education to conduct a controlled research study designed to evaluate methodologies and technologies for the detection of cannabis-impaired driving. After completion of the research study, DOH may create and implement rules and regulations to approve and certify a test for the presence of cannabis in drivers.

The legislation includes additional funding for drug recognition experts and law enforcement to ensure safe roadways.

The use of cannabis by drivers will remain prohibited.

Personal Possession and Home Cultivation

The following conditions apply to growing cannabis at home and personal possession of cannabis outside the home:

  • Personal possession outside of the home: up to 3 ounces cannabis and 24 grams of cannabis concentrate
  • Home possession: Amending limits of what is permitted in the home, which must be kept in a secure location away from children
  • Home grow: permitted under the bill subject to possession limits in 18 months for adult recreational use and subject to regulations of the Medical Program being promulgated no sooner than 6 months:
    • 3 mature plants and 3 immature plants for adults over 21
    • 6 mature plants and 6 immature plants maximum per household

Criminal Justice and Record Expungement

The cannabis penalty framework would be restructured to avoid the criminalization seen in prohibition. Reduced penalties would be implemented for possession and sale.

  • Creates automatic expungement or resentencing for anyone with a previous marijuana conviction that would now be legal under the law and provides necessary funding
  • Adds cannabis to the clean indoor air act which establishes a baseline on where cannabis can be smoked or vaped
  • Municipalities and local governments are permitted to make laws that are more restrictive than the CIAA. Contains various provisions to ensure that cannabis is treated as a lawful substance and to prevent discriminatory enforcement

Protections for the Use of Cannabis and Workplace Safety

Unlawful discrimination would be prohibited and workplace safety protections would be implemented.

Public Health and Education Campaign

OCM will establish a robust public health and education campaign and work with neighboring states and associations to coordinate actions and policies to protect regional health and safety.

The Slaughterhouse Killer”: Horror Genre and Revenge Film Genre

This Australian film was sent to me as a movie in the “horror” genre. If horror means you are horrified by what you watched well “The Slaughterhouse Killer” is a horror film. But if there is such a genre as a “revenge film” this would partially fit into that category.

It also pulls some moral strings to perhaps ask you if a revenge killing is justified? No I do not think it is justified even though you say secretly the victim got what they deserved.

Unlike many horror movies that present themselves as sort of a fantasy hence take on a “unbelievable response” this film is all the more chilling as it could easily mirror actual life. We all know there are serial killers out there in the real world and the two serial killers here are not crazed maniacs wearing goalie masks but two workers in a slaughterhouse. Both are bullied so their first kill is a revenge killing. A man who shoves a raw pig penis down your throat and forces you to eat it causes you to think how much different he is than those seeking revenge for his incessant bullying.

Although I won’t delve into the plot the subsequent killings are random and hence much more disturbing. One of the killers has remorse but his partner says you are in this forever and that partner then makes a personal kill.

And just when you think it is over and done with it looks like it is beginning again.

You have to admire the performance of Craig Ingham as Box, a huge hulk of a man who loves to slaughter animals who becomes more demonic and crazed as he starts killing humans.

This 78-minute film is directed by Sam Curtain. You can see the trailer here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ae2hdkwOGmQ

You can catch the film on the following platforms as of April 6th  https://www.bgpics.com/movies/the-slaughterhouse-killer/

Research Article
ABSTRACT
Development of new vaccine technology has been plagued with problems in the past. The current RNA based SARSCoV-2 vaccines were approved in the US using an emergency order without extensive long term safety testing. In
this paper the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine was evaluated for the potential to induce prion-based disease in vaccine
recipients. The RNA sequence of the vaccine as well as the spike protein target interaction were analyzed for the
potential to convert intracellular RNA binding proteins TAR DNA binding protein (TDP-43) and Fused in Sarcoma
(FUS) into their pathologic prion conformations. The results indicate that the vaccine RNA has specific sequences
that may induce TDP-43 and FUS to fold into their pathologic prion confirmations. In the current analysis a total
of sixteen UG tandem repeats (ΨGΨG) were identified and additional UG (ΨG) rich sequences were identified. Two
GGΨA sequences were found. Potential G Quadruplex sequences are possibly present but a more sophisticated
computer program is needed to verify these. Furthermore, the spike protein, created by the translation of the vaccine
RNA, binds angiotensin converting enzyme 2 (ACE2), a zinc containing enzyme. This interaction has the potential
to increase intracellular zinc. Zinc ions have been shown to cause the transformation of TDP-43 to its pathologic
prion configuration. The folding of TDP-43 and FUS into their pathologic prion confirmations is known to cause
ALS, front temporal lobar degeneration, Alzheimer’s disease and other neurological degenerative diseases. The
enclosed finding as well as additional potential risks leads the author to believe that regulatory approval of the
RNA based vaccines for SARS-CoV-2 was premature and that the vaccine may cause much more harm than benefit.

Introduction
Vaccines have been found to cause a host of chronic, late developing
adverse events. Some adverse events like type 1 diabetes may not
occur until 3-4 years after a vaccine is administered [1]. In the
example of type 1 diabetes the frequency of cases of adverse events
may surpass the frequency of cases of severe infectious disease
the vaccine was designed to prevent. Given that type 1 diabetes is
only one of many immune mediated diseases potentially caused by
vaccines, chronic late occurring adverse events are a serious public
health issue.
The advent of new vaccine technology creates new potential
mechanisms of vaccine adverse events. For example, the first
killed polio vaccine actually caused polio in recipients because
the up scaled manufacturing process did not effectively kill
the polio virus before it was injected into patients. RNA based
vaccines offers special risks of inducing specific adverse events.
One such potential adverse event is prion based diseases caused
by activation of intrinsic proteins to form prions. A wealth of
knowledge has been published on a class of RNA binding proteins
shown to participating in causing a number of neurological
diseases including Alzheimer’s disease and ALS. TDP-43 and
FUS are among the best studied of these proteins [2].
The Pfizer RNA based COVID-19 vaccine was approved by the
US FDA under an emergency use authorization without long term
safety data. Because of concerns about the safety of this vaccine a
study was performed to determine if the vaccine could potentially
induce prion based disease.
Methods
Pfizer’s RNA based vaccine against COVID-19 was evaluated for
the potential to convert TDP-43 and or FUS to their prion based
Microbiol Infect Dis, 2021 Volume 5 | Issue 1 | 2 of 3
disease causing states. The vaccine RNA was analyzed for the
presence of sequences that can activate TDP-43 and FUS. The
interaction of the transcribed spike protein with its target was
analyzed to determine if this action could also activate TDP-43
and FUS.
Results
Analysis of the Pfizer vaccine against COVID-19 identified two
potential risk factors for inducing prion disease is humans. The RNA
sequence in the vaccine [3] contains sequences believed to induce
TDP-43 and FUS to aggregate in their prion based conformation
leading to the development of common neurodegerative diseases.
In particular it has been shown that RNA sequences GGUA [4],
UG rich sequences [5], UG tandem repeats [6], and G Quadruplex
sequences [7], have increased affinity to bind TDP-43 and or
FUS and may cause TDP-43 or FUS to take their pathologic
configurations in the cytoplasm. In the current analysis a total of
sixteen UG tandem repeats (ΨGΨG) were identified and additional
UG (ΨG) rich sequences were identified. Two GGΨA sequences
were found. G Quadruplex sequences are possibly present but
sophisticated computer programs are needed to verify these.
The spike protein encoded by the vaccine binds angiotensin
converting enzyme 2 (ACE2), an enzyme which contains zinc
molecules [8]. The binding of spike protein to ACE2 has the
potential to release the zinc molecule, an ion that causes TDP-43
to assume its pathologic prion transformation [9].
Discussion
There is an old saying in medicine that “the cure may be worse
than the disease.” The phrase can be applied to vaccines. In the
current paper the concern is raised that the RNA based COVID
vaccines have the potential to cause more disease than the
epidemic of COVID-19. This paper focuses on a novel potential
adverse event mechanism causing prion disease which could be
even more common and debilitating than the viral infection the
vaccine is designed to prevent. While this paper focuses on one
potential adverse event there are multiple other potential fatal
adverse events as discussed below.
Over the last two decades there has been a concern among certain
scientists that prions could be used as bioweapons. More recently
there has been a concern that ubiquitous intracellular molecules
could be activated to cause prion disease including Alzheimer’s
disease, ALS and other neurodegenerative diseases. This concern
originates due to potential for misuse of research data on the
mechanisms by which certain RNA binding proteins like TDP-43,
FUS and others can be activated to form disease causing prions.
The fact that this research, which could be used for bioweapons
development, is funded by private organizations including the Bill
and Melinda Gates Foundation, and Ellison Medical Foundation
[2] without national/international oversight is also a concern.
In the past, for example, there were prohibitions for publishing
information pertaining to construction of nuclear bombs.
Published data has shown that there are several different factors that
can contribute to the conversion of certain RNA binding proteins
including TDP-43, FUS and related molecules to their pathologic
states. These RNA binding proteins have many functions and are
found in both the nucleus and the cytoplasm. These binding proteins
have amino acid regions, binding motifs that bind specific RNA
sequences. Binding to certain RNA sequences when the proteins
are in the cytoplasm is believed to causes the molecules to fold in
certain ways leading to pathologic aggregation and prion formation
in the cytoplasm [2]. The current analysis indicates Pfizer’s RNA
based COVID-19 vaccine contains many of these RNA sequences
that have been shown to have high affinity for TDP-43 or FUS
and have the potential to induce chronic degenerative neurological
diseases.
Zinc binding to the RNA recognition motif of TDP-43 is another
mechanism leading to formation of amyloid like aggregations [9].
The viral spike protein, coded by the vaccine RNA sequence, binds
ACE2 an enzyme containing zinc molecules [8]. This interaction
has the potential to increase intracellular zinc levels leading to
prion disease. The initial binding could be between spike proteins
on the surface of the cell transfected by the vaccine and ACE2
on the surface of an adjacent cell. The resulting complex may
become internalized. Alternatively, the interaction could initially
take place in the cytoplasm of a cell that makes ACE2 and has been
transfected with the vaccine RNA coding for the spike protein.
The interaction is quite concerning given the belief that the virus
causing COVID-19, SARS-CoV-2, is a bioweapon [10,11] and it
is possible that the viral spike protein may have been designed to
cause prion disease.
Another related concern is that the Pfizer vaccine uses a unique
RNA nucleoside 1-methyl-3′-pseudouridylyl (Ψ). According to
FDA briefing documents, this nucleoside was chosen to reduce
activation of the innate immune system [12]. RNA molecules
containing this nucleoside will undoubtedly have altered binding
[13]. Unfortunately, the effect on TDP-43, FUS and other RNA
binding proteins is not published. The use of this nucleoside in
a vaccine can potentially enhance the binding affinity of RNA
sequences capable of causing TDP-43 and FUS to assume toxic
configurations.
There are many other potential adverse events that can be induced
by the novel RNA based vaccines against COVID-19. The vaccine
places a novel molecule, spike protein, in/on the surface of host
cells. This spike protein is a potential receptor for another possibly
novel infectious agent. If those who argue that the COVID-19 is
actually a bioweapon are correct, then a second potentially more
dangerous virus may be released that binds spike protein found on
the host cells of vaccine recipients. Data is not publicly available
to provide information on how long the vaccine RNA is translated
in the vaccine recipient and how long after translation the spike
protein will be present in the recipient’s cells. Such studies
pertaining to in vivo expression will be complex and challenging.
Genetic diversity protects species from mass casualties caused by
infectious agents. One individual may be killed by a virus while
Microbiol Infect Dis, 2021 Volume 5 | Issue 1 | 3 of 3
another may have no ill effects from the same virus. By placing
the identical receptor, the spike protein, on cells of everyone in a
population, the genetic diversity for at least one potential receptor
disappears. Everyone in the population now becomes potentially
susceptible to binding with the same infectious agent.
Autoimmunity and the opposing condition, metabolic syndrome,
are well know adverse events caused by vaccines [14]. COVID-19
infections are associated with the induction of autoantibodies
and autoimmune disease [15,16] making it more than plausible
a vaccine could do the same. One author has found amino acid
sequences coded by the spike protein to be identical to sequences
in human proteins including proteins found in the CNS [17].
Autoimmunity can also be induced by epitope spreading when a
foreign antigen, like the spike protein, is presented by an antigen
presenting cell that also has self molecules attached to its MHC
molecules.
Finally, others working in the field have published additional support
that COVID-19 vaccines could potentially induce prion disease.
Authors [18] found prion related sequences in the COVID-19 spike
protein which were not found in related coronaviruses. Others [19]
have reported a case of prion disease, Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease,
initially occurring in a man with COVID-19.
Many have raised the warning that the current epidemic of
COVID-19 is actually the result of an bioweapons attack released
in part by individuals in the United States government [10,11].
Such a theory is not far fetched given that the 2001 anthrax attack
in the US originated at Fort Detrick, a US army bioweapon facility.
Because the FBI’s anthrax investigation was closed against the
advice of the lead FBI agent in the case, there are likely conspirators
still working in the US government. In such a scenario the primary
focus of stopping a bioweapons attack must be to apprehend the
conspirators or the attacks will never cease. Approving a vaccine,
utilizing novel RNA technology without extensive testing is
extremely dangerous. The vaccine could be a bioweapon and even
more dangerous than the original infection.

EU Physicians Express Concern About COVID Vaccines

Urgent Open Letter from Doctors and Scientists to the European Medicines Agency regarding COVID-19 Vaccine Safety Concerns

Emer Cooke, Executive Director, European Medicines Agency, Amsterdam, The Netherlands

28 February 2021

Dear Sirs/Mesdames,

FOR THE URGENT PERSONAL ATTENTION OF: EMER COOKE, EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF THE EUROPEAN MEDICINES AGENCY

As physicians and scientists, we are supportive in principle of the use of new medical interventions which are appropriately developed and deployed, having obtained informed consent from the patient. This stance encompasses vaccines in the same way as therapeutics.

We note that a wide range of side effects is being reported following vaccination of previously healthy younger individuals with the gene-based COVID-19 vaccines. Moreover, there have been numerous media reports from around the world of care homes being struck by COVID-19 within days of vaccination of residents. While we recognise that these occurrences might, every one of them, have been unfortunate coincidences, we are concerned that there has been and there continues to be inadequate scrutiny of the possible causes of illness or death under these circumstances, and especially so in the absence of post-mortems examinations.

In particular, we question whether cardinal issues regarding the safety of the vaccines were adequately addressed prior to their approval by the European Medicines Agency (EMA).

As a matter of great urgency, we herewith request that the EMA provide us with responses to the following issues:

1. Following intramuscular injection, it must be expected that the gene-based vaccines will reach the bloodstream and disseminate throughout the body [1]. We request evidence that this possibility was excluded in pre-clinical animal models with all three vaccines prior to their approval for use in humans by the EMA.

2. If such evidence is not available, it must be expected that the vaccines will remain entrapped in the circulation and be taken up by endothelial cells. There is reason to assume that this will happen particularly at sites of slow blood flow, i.e. in small vessels and capillaries [2]. We request evidence that this probability was excluded in pre-clinical animal models with all three vaccines prior to their approval for use in humans by the EMA.

3. If such evidence is not available, it must be expected that during expression of the vaccines’ nucleic acids, peptides derived from the spike protein will be presented via the MHC I — pathway at the luminal surface of the cells. Many healthy individuals have CD8-lymphocytes that recognize such peptides, which may be due to prior COVID infection, but also to cross-reactions with other types of Coronavirus [3; 4] [5]. We must assume that these lymphocytes will mount an attack on the respective cells. We request evidence that this probability was excluded in pre-clinical animal models with all three vaccines prior to their approval for use in humans by the EMA.

4. If such evidence is not available, it must be expected that endothelial damage with subsequent triggering of blood coagulation via platelet activation will ensue at countless sites throughout the body. We request evidence that this probability was excluded in pre-clinical animal models with all three vaccines prior to their approval for use in humans by the EMA.

5. If such evidence is not available, it must be expected that this will lead to a drop in platelet counts, appearance of D-dimers in the blood, and to myriad ischaemic lesions throughout the body including in the brain, spinal cord and heart. Bleeding disorders might occur in the wake of this novel type of DIC-syndrome including, amongst other possibilities, profuse bleedings and haemorrhagic stroke. We request evidence that all these possibilities were excluded in pre-clinical animal models with all three vaccines prior to their approval for use in humans by the EMA.

6. The SARS-CoV-2 spike protein binds to the ACE2 receptor on platelets, which results in their activation [6]. Thrombocytopenia has been reported in severe cases of SARS-CoV-2 infection [7]. Thrombocytopenia has also been reported in vaccinated individuals [8]. We request evidence that the potential danger of platelet activation that would also lead to disseminated intravascular coagulation (DIC) was excluded with all three vaccines prior to their approval for use in humans by the EMA.

7. The sweeping across the globe of SARS-CoV-2 created a pandemic of illness associated with many deaths. However, by the time of consideration for approval of the vaccines, the health systems of most countries were no longer under imminent threat of being overwhelmed because a growing proportion of the world had already been infected and the worst of the pandemic had already abated. Consequently, we demand conclusive evidence that an actual emergency existed at the time of the EMA granting Conditional Marketing Authorisation to the manufacturers of all three vaccines, to justify their approval for use in humans by the EMA, purportedly because of such an emergency.

Should all such evidence not be available, we demand that approval for use of the gene-based vaccines be withdrawn until all the above issues have been properly addressed by the exercise of due diligence by the EMA.

There are serious concerns, including but not confined to those outlined above, that the approval of the COVID-19 vaccines by the EMA was premature and reckless, and that the administration of the vaccines constituted and still does constitute “human experimentation”, which was and still is in violation of the Nuremberg Code.

In view of the urgency of the situation, we request that you reply to this email within seven days and address all our concerns substantively. Should you choose not to comply with this reasonable request, we will make this letter public.

” Mutantism on the March” : Chapter 30 “Montenez’s Brief and Eventful Visit to Zortixia”

Montenez remained on Zortixia for about a month basking in the public limelight and cheered by the good citizens of Zortixia. Initially Montenez owed his great popularity to the reputation of his late father but as he gave his own speeches and spoke his mind his popularity was a result of himself. Zortixians loved him for his own merits. Zortixians couldn’t get enough of Montenez describing his life on Earth. The Earth became the centre of public discussion. Earthling clothes became a regular site at many of the fashionable cafes of Zortixia. It was Earth mania!

Matters were going so well for Montenez he was offered the assistant deanship at the Zortixian University of High Education. He was also offered an honorary seat in the Zortixian Senate. Huge funds were to be at his disposal to establish an Earth Studies Institute. However flattering these offers were Montenez thought of Earth as his true home so he announced he would remain in Zortixia for another week and return to Earth. After all he had announced, in the presence of the Greek Gods, that he would remain on earth and help its inhabitants. He was well aware his departure would be emotionally difficult particularly parting with his best Zortixian friend Frizzy The Smicket Boy who was chief of the Zortixian Defence Academy. But he simply had to return.

Zortixia was in a deep state of harmony which it had not seen for years. The Jiber was but a bad memory. It made Willie proud to know that his father had been such a wise and noble Zortixian. In fact a new university was being constructed that would bear his name. The Zortixians would have loved to have a living reminder of the Montenez name but they had no luck. On the eve prior to his departure he gave a farewell speech promising he would be back for visits. The following day the Capital Hedbo published an editorial written by the esteemed Milkhim Mudrage.

                               Montenez Speaks

Last night I had the pleasure of attending William Montenez Jr’s last speech before he returns to Earth. The speech was inspiring and reminded me of the great oratorial skills of his late father. He spoke with integrity and honesty which are trademarks of great Creaturists. Like his late father he espouses a doctrine based on peace and humility. He calls the use of force “pure repression” stating that force oppresses both its wielder and its object. His view is that only the power of “clean consciousness” can overcome violence. The great advantage of this doctrine is that even the simplest people can grasp it and act according to it. Montenez reminded us that many others, especially on Earth, accepted and espoused this ideology but most were insincere and willing to manipulate this doctrine for their selfish interests. Unfortunately this lead to the creation of cynical and defeatist Earthlings.

Montenez stated clean consciousness has no leaders but only participants. It is his belief that when you have leaders this means there must be followers and hierarchies of power leading to repression. This automatically excludes many from the decision-making process. Repression need always be overt Montenez said as it also can be quietly internalized.

Perhaps the most controversial part of his address was dealing with the use of violence. One member of the audience stated that if violence had been used quickly against the Jiber and his blackbooters Zortixia might have been spared years of repression and murder. Montenez replied saying the use of force would have eliminated the Jiber and his blackbooters but their ideas and philosophy would have lived on. It may even have resulted in people considering the Jiber  a martyr. Montenez thought Jiber’s accession to power and his stream of foul deeds permitted the Zortixians to fully understand his evil. Zortixians could see him discredit himself and how criminal it would be to follow his ideas. In this way the leader and his ideology self destructed.

Montenez did not appear to have convinced many in the audience about his views on violence many, of course, still hurting from the ruthlessness and barbarity of the Jiber. He concluded his speech saying that we should never condone violence as civilized people should view violence as repulsive. He did back down somewhat when he said in certain rare circumstances such as where primitive peoples are being exploited by more technologically advanced peoples violence by the primitive may save many lives and suffering. It was advisable to try and restrain violent urges and let the masses see how disgusting violence is by witnessing it.

My thoughts about the speech was that it was inspiring but it was vague and lacked practicality. I think it is naïve to expect people to sit and watch violence in action so they can see how repulsive it is. I will say a small amount of violence can curtail baseness it should be used. And violence can be most effective when it is pinpointed to its biggest perpetuators. If the Jiber had been assassinated earlier Zortixians would have been spared much suffering. Sometimes freedom can be quickly reached by a few beams from the laser gun.
